When Should You Do Aqiqah? Timing and Flexibility
Recommended Time for Aqiqah
The Sunnah indicates performing Aqiqah on the seventh day after the child's birth. On that day the child's head is also shaved and a name is given. Many scholars consider the seventh day ideal but allow it to be done later if necessary.
Can Aqiqah Be Done Later?
Yes. If the seventh day is not possible—due to health, travel, or availability—Aqiqah can be performed on the 14th, 21st, or any later date. Some scholars allow it even in adulthood if it was not done in childhood.
Booking Aqiqah in Advance
At Kordoba Farms you can choose your slaughter date when you book. So you can schedule Aqiqah for the seventh day, or another suitable day. We serve Kuala Lumpur, Cheras, Ampang, Serdang, Sri Kembangan, Cyberjaya, and Putrajaya with halal slaughter and optional video proof.
Flexibility for Malaysian families
Travel, hospital stays, and weekend availability often shift Aqiqah dates. We document your preferred day in the order flow and confirm by WhatsApp. If you need a later date after the seventh day, note it in your order — our team will align slaughter scheduling accordingly.
